LG X500 smartphone with 4,500mAh battery launched

NEW DELHI: South Korean technology giant LG has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new smartphone. Dubbed X500, the handset is priced at KRW 319,000 and will go on sale in South Korea starting June 9. The USP of the smartphone is its 4,500mAh battery, which the company claims is good for 20 hours of video playback on a single charge. LG further says that the battery can be charged up to 50% in an hour. In terms of specifications, the LG X500 has a 5.5-inch display and is powered by a Mediatek MT6750 SoC. Running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, the smartphone has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards. The X500 has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. On the connectivity front, it offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. NEW DELHI: South Korean consumer electronics giant  Samsung  has launched the 2017 variants of its Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones in Europe. Dubbed Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017), the smartphones are priced at $304 and $332 respectively. Both are available in Black and Gold colour options. Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) comes with a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB in size. The smartphone has two 13MP cameras, one each at the front and the back. Having a fingerprint sensor and a 3,000mAh battery, the Galaxy J5 (2017) offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options. Huawei Y7 Prime unveiled: 4,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 435 07 JUNE 2017 Huawei unveiled the Y7 Prime in Hong Kong, which seems to be a version of China’s  Enjoy 7 Plus . Available now at  Vmall  (at HKD 1,880, around $240/€215) and coming to  Three , the handset offers long-lasting battery life thanks to its ample 4,000mAh capacity. Apple’s Pro laptops get just a bit better If you splurged on a new 15-inch  MacBook Pro  when  Apple   revamped the line in late 2016 , it was probably a pretty hefty investment. They started north of $2,000 and went up from there, and included the new Touch Bar interface above the keyboard, a huge touchpad and an AMD graphics chip for photo, video and 3D work. The good news is that I'm here to say don't worry about it. These updates are minor enough that you shouldn't feel left out with these new versions hitting stores immediately.
