Black Panther' smashed Thursday night box office records, and is aiming for a $200M plus 4-day weekend "Black Panther" earned an estimated $25.2 million in Thursday previews at U.S. theaters, setting a new record for a February release. The movie is now tracking for a massive $200 million opening over the Presidents Day weekend. "Black Panther" could earn enough over three days to spring into the same league as movies featuring Batman, Superman and Spider-Man.

(AP) AMMAN: The signing on Wednesday of a major five-year US aid package for Jordan seemed nearly impossible two months ago. The kingdom had joined most of the world at the UN General Assembly in opposing US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, despite Washington’s prior threats to cut financial aid to countries that planned to do so. The $6.38 billion package signed by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi is bigger, and will last longer, than previous agreements. A giant Silicon Valley company decides you might like to wear a computer on your head -- so you can see helpful digital information floating right in front of your eyes. But this time, the company is  Intel ,  not Google  -- and these smart glasses look like a regular pair of glasses, not a creepy cyborg visor. The Verge reported Monday  that Intel's New Devices Group (which  reportedly axed its wearables division last July ) has been quietly working on just such a pair of glasses, dubbed Vaunt, and plans to offer them up to developers in an early access program later this year.  How has nobody thought to put smarts in normal-looking glasses before? Well, it's been pretty tough to fit a miniature display and a decent-size battery into traditional eyewear.
